How to Avail of Free Online Courses at TESDA

Long have our parents been telling us that we should study well in order to be able to find a job fast an start contributing on the expenses in our respective houses. However, if we look at the current situation of many of the graduates here in the Philippines, degrees are pretty much useless unless you’ve graduated as the top of your batch, in which case, you just pretty much wasted 4-5 years of your life studying for nothing.

However, with the current developments in the programs run by both the national government and NGO’s many of unemployed Filipinos both graduates and undergraduates are now given another chance at finding another alternative in not only developing new set of skills that they could use to build their own business or to be able to supply demands for skilled workers in many parts of the world.

TESDA or Technical Education and Skills Development Authority has been running an online program that is open to all Filipinos in all works of life such as out of school youth, OFW’s, or simply people who wants extra income and doesn’t have enough time to manually attend and enroll in the program.

To create a TESDA Online Program Account:

1. Go to this site and create an account http://e-tesda.gov.ph/ and click on the Log In button on the upper right corner
2. You will be redirected to this page.
3. Fill out the necessary information in order to create an account. All the blank fields with an asterisk (*) is mandatory so fill these with the needed information.
4. Hit the ‘create my new account’ button after the last piece of information has been filled in.
5. You should be able to receive an e-mail for the activation of your account for TESDA. The e-mao; should contain a website to confirm your account (sometimes an activation link is not needed)

How to enroll in TESDA Courses Online Program Education:

1. Log in to your TESDA account on their site.
2. You should be able to see a list of courses offered by TESDA program. Click on the one you would like to enroll.
3. After clicking on the program, click on the module you want to take.
4. On the topic outline, you can hit the ‘enroll this course’ on the lower left side of your screen.
5. A pop box would appear on your screen. This will ask your confirmation for your enrollment. Simply click on the ‘YES’ button.
