Submissions are now accepted from eligible applicants for Overseas Workers Welfare Administration’s Education for Development Scholarship Program for school year 2018-2019.
The program is open to dependents of active OWWA members who have enrolled or will enroll in any four- or five-year baccalaureate course in any accredited college or university. or university.
Interested applicants will be required to submit necessary documentary requirements and pass the test to be administered by the Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute in October.
“Examinees who passed the exams are given the privilege of receiving sixty-thousand pesos (P60,000) educational assistance per school year,” OWWA administrator Hans Leo Cacdac said in a statement.
The deadline for the submission of application for EDSP is on July 31, 2017.
