A Filipino domestic worker has been arrested and charged with stealing her employer’s clothing valued at HK$30,000 (P193,590) in a Hong Kong island villa.
According to Asia Times citing Apple Daily, the helper was nabbed Monday after she was carrying a large bag early morning when she left her employer’s house located at 89 Repulse Bay Road. On her way out, the Filipina was stopped by a security guard who called up her employer.
The guard called the police after about 50 items of employer’s clothing were found inside the maid’s bag. She was later arrested by the police for suspected theft.
